Topics for digital story and LP2- Madeline

Hey guys, I'm sorry to be so early with this but I am having surgery on Thursday and I want to get all my work for the week done before that. Here is a thread to post our topics for LP2 and the digital story, since none of us can have the same topics or we will not get credit! For my digital story, I am going to do a story about going shopping for ingredients/making a list. For my lesson plan, I am going to have students do research on kitchen safety and its importance and then put together a presentation on it.

Lesson Plan Submission- Madeline

Hey y'all! I made a few last edits and I submitted the lesson plan to the dropbox. Great work this week! I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day :)

Google Maps: Kalamazoo Michigan- Tokyo Japan

Google Map

Is anyone good at using google maps that would want to do that and upload it to the blog? I think we just have to highlight the two locations (so Kalamazoo and Tokyo), but I am not entirely sure.

WEBSITES ("Intel Evaluating Internet Resources Questionnaire")

Hey guys. From my understanding from the instructions on elearning,  all conversations we have need to be on here (discussing websites for our project) rather than on a google doc. So If everyone wants to comment their 3 websites they plan on using on this post, we should be able to easily decipher which websites are already used! Remember, we each need to have 3 DIFFERENT sites and then once we pick them, we must fill out the "Intel Evaluating Internet Resources Questionnaire" and submit in dropbox.

Lesson Plan

Hey guys! So, Adrian and I have finished the lesson plan on the google doc! It would be great if you all could look it over and please feel free to add/take out anything. Once everyone has looked at it and "approved" it, I will submit it!

Map and Websites

Hey everyone! I just wanted to get the conversation started about the map and the websites we need for this section too. For the map, were we thinking just a map of Japan to include in the assigned blog post or did it need to be something more specific? Also, I am going to make another google docs so that we can post each of our three websites and their reasonings for the lesson plan on it. If anyone has any problems, adaptations, or just pointing out something that I missed just let me know! Thanks!

Virtual Penpal Lesson Plan- Madeline Aldinger

Hey group! I was looking ahead at our assignments for the week and for the virtual pen pal lesson plan I was thinking that we could have students from two different states compare and contrast their favorite recipes! This would tie into the larger PBL project of the cookbook. Let me know what you guys think and I will get started on it and post the draft on here tomorrow or Tuesday for you all to review and make suggestions. Also, if you have any suggestions for what states and recipes to use let me know!

Updated Concept Map(:

Attached is our Concept Map for this project:

Please Read!

Hello again :) I'm not sure if anyone saw my comment on the first post but  Professor Peterson shared with me that you have to accept the invitation to the blog from the link that got sent to your email (the one you commented on this post with), not just from the link that I posted on elearning! I think this only goes for Adrian and Rachel because you guys are the only ones who's name isn't showing up! So make sure you guys do that so we can all get credit :) Also, Serena, I know you mentioned the other day that you were going to get started on the concept map... was just checking in to see if you have or not just so we can see what needs to be done!

First Post- Jillian Pertler

Hey group! I went ahead and made the blog, everyone feel free to make any changes as you please with the design, font, etc. Rachel, if you can see this, please comment your email on the discussions page so I can include you in on here so you are able to make changes/posts! :)
