Topics for digital story and LP2- Madeline
Hey guys, I'm sorry to be so early with this but I am having surgery on Thursday and I want to get all my work for the week done before that. Here is a thread to post our topics for LP2 and the digital story, since none of us can have the same topics or we will not get credit!
For my digital story, I am going to do a story about going shopping for ingredients/making a list.
For my lesson plan, I am going to have students do research on kitchen safety and its importance and then put together a presentation on it.

ReplyDeleteFor my digital story, I'm going to do a story about how food/ kitchen preparation can be connected to individual family/ cultural experiences through maybe a story about a holiday and a family dish.
For my lesson plan, I'm going to give students a budget and have them make either a dish or just buy food based on their budget.

For my lesson plan, I'm going to have the students do a guess and check experiment which requires them to guess if the given food is expired or not, and then have them find the answer by doing some sort of experiment to get the answer.

ReplyDeleteMy digital story is going to be about how to pour and measure ingredients. I think this should be fine since Madeline's was about shopping for ingredients not necessarily on how to use the ingredients in active cooking. If anyone thinks this is too closely related please let me know!!
My lesson plan will be on how the similar topic in a classroom setting.
