So, Adrian and I have finished the lesson plan on the google doc! It would be great if you all could look it over and please feel free to add/take out anything. Once everyone has looked at it and "approved" it, I will submit it!

Thank you guys so much for jumping ahead at this! I've had such a busy week because I'm going out of town this weekend! I just gave it a look and it looks great. Although, do you think she wants us narrowing the recipe down to one specific one (i know it's currently spaghetti), or did she want us to make it broad? For example, "what's your favorite cultured dish to make at home with your family?" This way an american family might share a recipe of pizza, cheeseburgers, pasta dish, etc. whereas a family in Japan might share something such as tempura, sushi, miso, etc. I'm just thinking because maybe a family in Japan has never had spaghetti.. Just thinking out loud. Let me know your thoughts!
ReplyDeleteHi all! I went through the lesson plan and it looks great! Thank you Madi and Adrian for helping our group out you did a wonderful job! I looked it over I also wondered Jillian's comment. Do student's from Japan eat spaghetti? Or is there something similar? We could do sushi. I feel like sushi made here would be different then in Japan. Or another common dish both places are familiar with that way they could compare and contrast them?

ReplyDeleteI was thinking that the students from Japan would share a pasta recipe. So something similar to spaghetti, but not exactly the same.
